By submitting your work for consideration, you agree to adhere to the submission guidelines and procedure of the Flying Fish Haiku Journal

You retain the full copyright to your work. By submitting your previously published work, you grant the Flying Fish Haiku Journal and the editor(s) the non-exclusive license to reprint, display, distribute, and archive your work on this website in all formats.

4.

The editor(s) and the journal/website shall not be liable to you or any other person for contributors’ views, errors, failure to properly acknowledge previously published works, or copyright infringement.

5.

Flying Fish Haiku Journal is a no-fee, no-pay market.

By submitting your work for consideration, you agree to adhere to the submission guidelines and procedure of the Flying Fish Haiku Journal

By submitting your work, you confirm that it is your original work and has not been published electronically or in print before.

By submitting, you agree that you have the rights necessary to grant the Flying Fish Haiku Journal permission to publish accepted work.

5.

Flying Fish Haiku Journal requires first rights to the works it will publish. All rights return to the individual authors upon publication. If the author wishes to republish the work later, please cite the Flying Fish Haiku Journal as the place of original publication.

6.

By submitting, you agree that if your work is accepted for publication in the Flying Fish Haiku Journal, it shall not be published elsewhere until the release of the issue of Flying Fish in which it appears.

Please ensure that you include the permission statement in the body of your email submission. This permission includes the right to reproduce, display, distribute, and archive your work on this website, in whole or in part, in any language, and in any medium now known or hereafter devised. 

Permission Statement: I declare that the work I am submitting is my own original work and has never been published electronically or in print. I understand and agree that the Flying Fish Haiku Journal receives first rights to the works it publishes. I agree that if my work is accepted for publication in the Flying Fish Haiku Journal, it will not be published elsewhere until the release of the issue of Flying Fish in which it appears. I hereby grant the Flying Fish Haiku Journal the right to publish my accepted work.

Flying Fish Haiku Journal reserves the right to reproduce, display, distribute via electronic medium, and archive accepted work on this website in all formats.

9.

Flying Fish Haiku Journal reserves the right to reprint accepted work with proper citation on social media for promotional purposes with the author’s written permission. (As of now, Flying Fish does not have any social media accounts). 

10.

Flying Fish Haiku Journal reserves the right to reprint accepted work in any future digital or print collections with the author's written permission.

11.

The editor(s) and the journal/website shall not be liable to you or any other person for contributors’ views, errors, failure to properly acknowledge previously published works, or copyright infringement.

However, Flying Fish reserves the right to remove any work that is found to have been previously published, even after publication. Flying Fish may or may not inform the author in such a scenario.

12.

Flying Fish Haiku Journal is a no-fee, no-pay market. 

13.

Flying Fish Haiku Journal does not accept any requests for submissions to be returned if your work is not selected. After the respective cut-off date, your work will be free for submissions to other publications. 

14.

Your submission to the Flying Fish Haiku Journal is deemed to be an acceptance of the above rights and terms.
